With Habahaba you can get the following ability:
- To connect to your jabber account
you can use Habahaba as simple web jabber client. To do it you should input required data in "Have a jabber account?" area.
- To register new jabber account — service under development.
Habahaba include dedicated jabber server as well as allows to register on third party servers. The instruction for registration appear as soon as necessary functionality will be developed.
- To send a message to any jabber user without account
if something is unclear you can read the following instruction:
- Open the http://habahaba.im/ page.
- Choose the quick connection form and input the jabber address in JID field. For example: fbot@jrudevels.org.
- Introduce yourself in "your name" field. This field is optional.
- Input the message into the "Text" field.
- Push the "Send" button.
- Input the number from captcha.
Please note that you can not send the second message until you receive an answer.
If your friend add you in his roster you will see the status of each other until death separates you the anonymous disconnects the session.
- To create a link for people without jabber account by which they could talk with you easily
for this is necessary to register on xmpp:gateway.habahaba.im with some nickname and provide friends with link: habahaba.im/yournickname. For example: habahaba.im/fbot. After that friend should pass through this link and fill in easy form.

- You should move to "Discover services" menu in your jabber client.
- Write "habahaba.im" in address field and find the services.
- Choose "Habahaba status and anonymous gateway"
- Register desired_nickname. Important — nickname is case sensitive.
- Provide people with shortcut link — habahaba.im/desired_nickname. for example: habahaba.im/fbot.
When the users pass by link: they need to input three things: Name(optional), Message for you and number from captcha image. After that you can enjoy the talking.
- To represent your jabber status on web page
for this is necessary to register on xmpp: gateway.habahaba.im with some nickname too. The image with your status you can get here: http://habahaba.im/status/nickname/iconset.type. For example: http://habahaba.im/status/fbot/iconset.png, you can choose the following types: png, jpg, gif or don't determine the type at all. For example: http://habahaba.im/status/fbot/iconset
